　　受产品同质化速度加快、价格竞争加剧、产品生命周期短缩以及当下的去产能、去库存、去杠杆等因素的影响，仪器仪表行业之间的竞争越来越激烈，一着不慎就可能满盘皆输。2017年，我国仪器仪表制造业规模以上数达到4358家，其中有497家企业出现亏损，亏损企业平均亏损金额达到734.4万元。

　　目前，不少的国内外厂商已经越来越重视智能化仪表发展，建设了自动化生产线，产品技术朝着微型化、多功能化、人工智能化、虚拟化等方向发展。在生产方式上，泉州已经建设数字化生产线130条，完成生产销售国产机器人1160台，推广应用国产数控系统5340套，打造了嘉华机器人自动上下料及3C钻攻中心生产线、3条智能制造示范生产线；国网浙江省电力公司电力科学研究院成功研制了电能表智能检定系统，项目实施后，电能表检定效率提升58倍，检定人员减少90%以上，运营成本降低50%；艾默生推出了适用于科里奥利流量计和电磁流量计的新版智能仪表自校验软件。该软件可根据需求提供流量计校验，让过程工程师、技术人员和操作人员能基于当下行业先进仪表和过程诊断工具，关注仪表以外的事项并做出实时决策。
