供热外管网与热用户的连接方式一般分为两种:间接连接和直接连接。其中间接连接比较常见的是在换热站或热用户入口处采用板式换热器换热机组进行热交换,这种方式需要建造专门的换热站机房,设备和土建方面投资比较大。直接连接又分为三种:
